What is a CSA?
CSA stands for Community-Supported Agriculture. It is a system that connects the producer and consumers within the food system more closely by allowing the consumer to subscribe to the harvest of a certain farm or group of farms. (via Wikipedia)
How much will it cost?
We will be starting the program at $35 a week for a full share and $20 for a half. You must pay for a month in advance.
When and where will it be available?
The CSA Spring share will begin January 6th and go through May 25th. Members will pick up their share once a week at one of two locations.
CSA Pick-up times:
Fridays from 3 pm – 5 pm at Fleet Farming’s HQ in West Orlando – 1030 W Kaley St (Kaley Square Community Center). You will find our processing kitchen in the back area near our greenhouses. There will be signs to guide you to the kitchen.
Mondays 5 pm – 9 pm at the Audubon Park Farmers Market at Stardust Video and Coffee (1842 Winter Park Rd, Orlando, FL 32803)
