Ariana Simpson

Ariana Simpson is a graduate of Rollins College where she received her B.A. in English. Although a poet and creative writer, Ariana also studied sociology and journalism. It was in undergrad that she saw the fruition of intersectional writing and activism become an attainable reality. A love for sustainability and local initiatives carried her to small organic farms in Gainesville and to fight for justice for farmworkers within Student Farmworker Alliance. These and many more hands-on learning experiences have shaped one of many paths she plans to continue on as both writer and fighter.
