Fleet Farming Projects
Seeking Sponsor Support
Pollinator Garden Project
Sponsoring a pollinator garden for the Fleet Farming urban agriculture program is a meaningful way to contribute to the local environment and community. By supporting the planting of Florida native plants alongside our urban farm plots, you are helping to create a thriving habitat for essential pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. These gardens not only enhance the biodiversity and health of our urban farms but also engage the community in sustainable practices and environmental stewardship.
Fleet Fruits Program
This year, Fleet Farming is re-launching an exciting new program to transform underutilized spaces near our Audubon Park headquarters into productive landscapes that build biodiversity, attract pollinators, clean the air, and more. Under the Fleet Fruits program, homeowners can register their existing fruit trees with Fleet Farming or have professional Fleet Farmers plant new fruit trees on their property. Fleet Farming maintains and harvests from these registered fruit trees on a seasonal basis, sharecropping a percentage of the fruits with the homeowner.
Fruit Tree Orchard
Supporting our fruit tree orchard project is a meaningful way to contribute to the local environment and community. By sponsoring the planting of starfruit and loquat trees alongside companion plants, you are helping us create a thriving orchard that will produce local food for our community and support food donation programs for local food banks. These resources enhance the productivity and health of our urban farms, ensuring we can provide fresh, nutritious fruit to those in need while engaging the community in sustainable agricultural practices.
Rain Barrel
Installation
Supporting our rain barrel installation project at the Audubon Park Church, our largest urban micro farm, is a meaningful way to contribute to the local environment and community. By sponsoring the installation of rain barrels, you are helping us conserve water, enhance the sustainability of our urban farm, and ensure a steady supply of water for our crops. This initiative will improve the health and productivity of our farm, enabling us to provide fresh, nutritious food to the community and support food donation programs for local food banks.
